César Ipenza, a young environmental lawyer from Peru, was awarded CEL's Alexandre Kiss Award. As winner of the world-wide competition, he was hosted for a week as a guest in IUCN's Environmental Law Center in Bonn, Germany. Read the full story here.

During the CEL Steering Committee meeting, the members congratulated the efforts of the YP Group.

The YP Group created a blog and the number of members increased up to 25, representing eleven countries of the world (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, India, Paraguay, Peru and USA). The Group also facilitated some debates with the senior members of CEL in order to promote intergenerational partnership within CEL. In this regard, members of the YP Group have also been included on the Specialists Groups of CEL for the same intergenerational purpose.
